An Overnight Summer Camp Experience Built for Teens

Teen Campers want more than a schedule filled with things to do. They want meaningful choices, genuine friendships, worthwhile challenges and adults who give them room to grow. Camp Frontier combines that independence with the dependable structure of a traditional OverNight Camp community.

Pioneers and Adventurers

Pioneers, ages 13–14, expand their horizons through new skills, friendships and greater independence. Adventurers, ages 15–17, enjoy Camp’s oldest Camper community with added opportunities for leadership, responsibility and personal growth.

Independence with caring structure

Teens make meaningful choices about their activities and friendships while Counselors and Life Directors remain present throughout lodge life, meals, activities and evening programs. The result is freedom within a community where teens are known, supported and expected to contribute.

More than 100 ways to shape the summer

Teens choose two activities to pursue for the week and two different afternoon activities each day. Waterfront adventures, horses, challenge course, sports, target activities, performing arts, creative arts, culinary, digital media, STEM and outdoor life create room to revisit favorites and discover something new.

Real friendships in an unplugged community

Time away from everyday technology makes room for face-to-face conversation, shared challenges, laughter and the ordinary moments that turn Camp friends into lifelong friends. Lodge groups, Color Wars, Campfires and evening programs give teens a community they can truly join.

A pathway toward leadership

Approved Adventurers ages 15–17 may apply for the C.I.T. Leadership Program. The experience adds practical opportunities to develop responsibility, teamwork, service and communication while remaining fully part of Camp life.

Trips, traditions and memorable milestones

Eligible three-week Campers in Sessions 1 and 3 participate in the scheduled theme-park trip, while Campers at Camp on July 4 join the holiday outing. Weekly traditions, performances, awards, special events and closing celebrations give every session moments teens remember.
